Historical Fiction Books for Third Graders

"Sinister Summer: Cars, Cruisers, and Close Calls" reunites best friends, Pete and Carol Ann, with their doggy pal, Buddy, to search for peace and safety in a world of bullies and other close calls. "Wild Winter: Christmas, Clues, and Crooks", the final book in the series, finds best friends, Pete and Carol Ann, planning a Christmas Pageant to raise money for needy families in their community while they work to discover the crooks who are stealing their holiday joy.
