Memorial Day 2013

Happy Memorial Day to all my friends. Pete and Carol Ann would like to give you a bit of history behind Memorial Day.

Carol Ann wants everyone to know , “Memorial Day or Decoration Day was created to honor those men who died in the Civil War. But the holiday continued to honor all American soldiers who died during war time. It was mostly celebrated on May 30th.”

Pete says, ” People put flags and flowers on the graves of soldiers and civilians. Happy Memorial Day.”

May 2013

Hello friends, and I’m wishing you a happy rest of the month of May. We’ve celebrated spring, Mother’s Day, and now Memorial Day in a few days. God please bless America! And God bless all those Patriots who have given so much to preserve the freedoms we so dearly love. Let us remember Memorial Day and honor this land of the free and home of the brave!

April 30, 2013

Hello friends and readers. Before April turns into May, I’d like to remind everyone that Book 1 in my series is all about the month of April 1955. This book and the other three can be purchased online as paperbacks and eBooks.

Pete and Carol Ann have a reminder for you. Pete says, “Please read our book, Scary Spring: Our Polio Fright of 1955, and learn all about the polio virus and vaccine during the month of April 1955. And that’s no April Fools’ Day joke!”
